Deep Detail High Definition Jewelers Carving Wax

See the difference in Deep Detail carving wax!

NEW - Squidoo page for wax carving information:
http://www.squidoo.com/waxmodels ~ Where I will be building a place for tips and tricks about carving wax!

Many of us master model carvers have been using magnification to see the details in our wax models. About seven years ago I, along with Dave Kindt, developed a "high definition" jewelers wax that I named Deep Detail. There was a need for a product that did not absorb the light like most carving wax does. There was a need for opacity, yet strength and carve-ability too so that crisp lines can be achieved.
CAM Deep Detail model. Finished by hand by adding comfit interior and softening of outer rails.
I have sent out literally hundreds of samples to jewelers for free, yet not enough are using it. Stuart Adelman of Artelle Designs has had hands on carving experience with Deep Detail and loves the results. Mike Magee uses it for all of his CADCAM models now. Mike is a former student of mine and successful jeweler as well.

Please visit my website and look for the results on my *wax models* page. I am currently working with a couple of designers who are master model carvers who will be reporting on their results with Deep Detail. Last year I submitted a sample to one of our industry supply catalogs and it was not accepted. Yet, when I asked "did anyone actually carve a model with Deep Detail?" ... the answer was a quiet "no". So, I will move forward to my next inquiry.
